Does the SAT system on your vehicle no longer retract?
Please start the engine of your motorhome; the SAT system should retract automatically a few seconds later due to a safety cut-out.
If this was not successful, reset the SAT system by de-energising the vehicle. To do this, please switch off the control panel above the entrance door, disconnect the 230 V plug (if plugged in) from the power supply and then set the battery disconnect switch on the electrical block (EBL) to OFF. After approx. 2-3 minutes, undo the whole process and try to retract the SAT system via the control unit.
If this was also unsuccessful, the fuses integrated in the control unit of the SAT system may have blown. To do this, disconnect the power supply to the control unit for a few minutes. The control unit is usually located in a compartment above the fridge.
If the SAT system still does not retract, the articulated arm including the parabolic reflector must be loosened manually using the two screws on the joint. The bowl can then be moved freely. The defined basic position should be marked in advance on the cover and the LNB holder with a waterproof marker.
The articulated arm including the parabolic reflector can then be lowered manually and tightened again. Alternatively, dismantle it completely and store it safely in the rear garage of the vehicle and then visit a dealer who can analyse and rectify the fault on site.
