Water is not flowing in your vehicle
Can you hear a buzzing noise from the fresh water pump when you turn on the water tap?
Yes:
Has the water level in the fresh water tank already been checked?
Note: If there is too little or even no water, there is a risk that the water pump will overheat and stop working. Consequence: The water pump will need to be replaced.
No:
- Is the operating panel for the power supply above the entrance door switched on?
- Have you already checked the fuse labelled “pump” in the electrical block (EBL)?
- Does the water pump also not start to make a buzzing sound when turning the other water taps on?
Note: If the water is reaching another water tap, the microswitch on the problematic water tap is probably defective. Consequence: The microswitch / water tap needs to be replaced.
If you have been able to rule out all of these points but still cannot get the water pump to work, please contact a local Dethleffs dealer.
Tip: For vehicles with the Winter package, the water pump can be operated separately. An additional black switch is installed on the back-up switch under the driver’s seat or on the operating panel. This may have been switched off – you will need to switch it back on.
