Depending on the vehicle type, the antenna for the vehicle's radio reception is either mounted visibly on the roof, in the right wing mirrors of the vehicle or inside the dashboard.
There are versions that are designed for FM and/or DAB+ reception. This always depends on which transmission types the installed radio terminal can process. The easiest way to find out is via the menu of the respective device.
If antennas are mounted on the roof, it must be ensured that they can be damaged by carelessness if, for example, they are not considered when driving under an obstacle (branches of a tree or similar). Care should also always be taken when washing the car.
If reception is impaired, first check whether adjusting the transmitter frequency will help or whether the vehicle is located in an area with restricted signal transmission. If the faults persist for a longer period of time, please contact a service or authorised dealer who will check the radio system.
