Tyre pressure
- If the tyre pressure is too low, the tyre will overheat. This can result in serious damage to the tyre.
- Check the tyre pressure regularly before driving or every 2 weeks. Incorrect tyre pressure causes excessive wear and can damage the tyres or even cause them to burst. The vehicle may get out of control.
- Only use valves that are approved for the specified tyre pressure.
- Only check the tyre pressure when the tyres are cold.
The load capacity and therefore the durability of a tyre is directly related to the tyre pressure. Air is a volatile medium that inevitably escapes from tyres. As a rule of thumb, an inflated tyre will lose 0.1 bar of pressure every two months. To avoid damage or burst tyres, check the tyre pressure regularly. - The tyre pressure values (user manual) apply to loaded vehicles with cold tyres.
- The pressure is higher on warm tyres than on cold tyres. Therefore, check the correct pressure when the tyres are cold.
- Specification of the tyre pressure in bar.
The vehicles are constantly being adapted to the latest technical standards. It is possible that new tyre sizes are not yet included in this tyre pressure table. In this case, the Dethleffs dealer will be happy to provide you with the latest values.
