Caravan safety
| Anti-skid system - The anti-skid system, similar to the ESP in a car, gently brakes the caravan within fractions of a second in the event of skidding movements and returns it to a safe driving state. |
|
| Gas pressure regulator with crash sensor - The gas pressure regulator has a safety and a comfort component: Firstly, the built-in crash sensor ensures that the gas supply is interrupted immediately in the event of a collision and gas cannot escape uncontrollably. This protective device allows the operation of gas consumers even while driving! |
|
| Self-adjusting brake - ensures an optimised, shorter braking distance | |
| Smoke detector - A proven lifesaver. Warns of smoke development with a piercing whistling sound. | |
| Axle shock absorbers - ensure optimum road holding. | |
| Branded chassis - from the leading German manufacturer. | |
| Special pulling head - prevents pitching and rolling movements. |
Motorhome safety
| ESP (Electronic Stability Control) - keeps the direction of the vehicle and the movement of the wheels under control. In dangerous driving situations, it responds, brakes individual wheels or slows down the vehicle by reducing power. This keeps the vehicle safely on track. | |
| 3-point safety belts - All registered seats in the direction of travel are equipped with a 3-point safety belt and sturdy headrests, as used in cars. |
Other important driver assistance systems:
- ASR (Anti Slip Regulation) - Prevents the wheels from spinning when starting off on a hill.
- Hill Holder - prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards when starting off on a hill.
- HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assistance) - Help with emergency braking. The system recognises emergency braking and, if necessary, increases the pressure on the pedal.
- Roll-over mitigation - Reduces roll and improves stability, even when cornering.
- Hill Descent Control - helps to maintain the desired speed (up to max. 30 km/h) on steep downhill gradients without having to brake constantly. The driver can devote his full attention to the steering (activated via a button on the dashboard).
