Are the key numbers wrong in my licence?
The numbers for 2.1 and 2.2 in ZB Part 1 are correct. Number 2.1 refers to the base vehicle of the respective manufacturer. It is correct that you will not find spare parts for your base vehicle on the open market with the number in 2.2, as this is a number assigned by the KBA for the Dethleffs licence. As a body manufacturer, we are the last to require authorisation.
Accordingly, you can obtain your spare parts for the base vehicle with the help of an authorised dealer of the base vehicle and the chassis number. As a rule, the base vehicle manufacturer should provide you with the part no. so that you can purchase the parts on the open market.
