According to the information that has become known so far, it is currently only a suspicion that has prompted the public prosecutor's office in Frankfurt am Main to initiate investigations into FCA Germany AG (Fiat), among others, in connection with so-called diesel defeat devices. These investigations are still ongoing. We are not aware of any results, as no information is provided on ongoing investigations.
FCA Germany AG (Fiat) has informed us that the "supplied FCA diesel engines (i) are not equipped with prohibited defeat devices; and (ii) fully comply with the applicable EU regulations."
