Cassette toilet:
This version is the most prevalent type of toilet in caravans and motorhomes. There are two designs. One comes in a high-quality, durable, user-friendly plastic, the other is a highly hygienic ceramic version. The level indicator in the vehicle’s interior shows when the holding tank needs to be emptied. In both versions, the holding tank is emptied by removing the tank from the exterior of the vehicle. Toilet cleaners and additives ensure durability, suppress unpleasant smells, support decomposition and thus simplify the emptying process.
Macerating toilet:
This option features a ceramic bowl with a large, blockage-free disposal pump with a macerating function. The digital tank monitor provides a quick and clear overview of the fill level. Unlike the cassette toilet, the holding tank is emptied with the waste water at the camp site. To do this, simply drive over the waste water disposal hatch and press a button to empty the holding tank. Additives to aid macerating are not necessary thanks to the macerating function and the closed tank system.
